SAC Coaching Staff 2007-2008

Steve Duncheskie, Aquatics Director
Steve continues with SAC in his 6th year as Aquatics Director. He oversees the development of practices and serves as the primary link of communication between parents, board and the coaches. Steve has been the coach for Oreland Swim Club since 1995 and has coached the team to the league championship and an undefeated season for the past seven years. He is the assistant coach for LaSalle High School, where he also teaches biology. He is a 1998 graduate of LaSalle University, where he also holds a masters degree in education. He was an Atlantic 10 champion and still holds a record in the 100 freestyle (look for it at champs!).
Boys Team - Todd Binkowski - Boys Head Coach
Todd earned a degree in Public Relations from LaSalle University in 2002, where he also swam four years. Todd swam for Springfield High School from 1994-98 and held several records including the 200 Medley Relay and the 100 backstroke, when he was a runner-up to the state champion. Todd works as a consultant for International SOS in Neshaminy.

Girls Team - Lizanne Hendershott - Girls Head Coach, Developmental Team Director
This is Lizanne’s 6th year as coach and director of the pre-competitive team and 1st season as girl's head coach. She swam for William Tennent High School in the 1970’s, was a high school All-American for four years, and still holds a school record in the 400 freestyle relay (look for it at the Odd Age Meet!). She attended Penn State where she swam and obtained an undergraduate degree in engineering. Lizanne obtained a Master’s degree in Elementary Education at Chestnut Hill College and currently teaches at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy.

Dave Kaufman - Assistant Coach
Dave swam and played football at Gov Mifflin HS in Shillington PA. He attended Drexel University and graduated in 1993 with a BS mechanical engineering. Dave rowed on Crew team 4 years and swam senior year in college. He was assistant at Gov. Mifflin HS in 1994. Dave works as a Project Engineer for CHL Systems in Souderton PA.

Dan Bell - Assistant Girls Coach
Dan Bell will join the SAC staff on the girls side for the 07-08 season. Dan is an alum of Springfield High School where he competed in both the District and State finals for the Spartan boys squad. Dan continued his education at Penn State University where he graduated with a degree in education from the Honors Program. Dan currently resides with his wife, Jennifer, in North Wales.

Meg Ehling - Diving
Meg Ehling is in her second year as diving coach! Meg is a Springfield High graduate (1998) and was a four year Varsity diver for the lady Spartans. Meg dove competively for over ten years at the Oreland Swim Club during the summer season. We wish Meg the best of luck for the season!
