The Springfield Aquatics Club is pleased to announce that it is beginning a spring water polo team starting in March of 2008.  The team, Spartan Pride, will compete out of the American Water Polo spring league. 

Registration Information

The goal of the club is to enhance the skills of our local water polo players, both male and female.  Membership to the team will be opened up to 8-12 graders who are interested in the sport.

 

The team will be headed by SHS Head Water Polo Coach, Galen Newman.  The days of practice have not been formally decided upon.

There are 4 weekend dates of games (@ Villanova) spread out over April and May.  The team would play a total of 8 games, not including playoff weekend.  The schedule is TBA as of now.  The practice season would begin shortly after States (swim) is completed.

 

In order to sustain a club team, we would need to have a minimum of 14 males and 14 females for separate teams.  There are no co-ed teams.
