Practice Schedule

A note about practice -- We would like swimmers to try to make two-three practices a week and attend all SAL meets. Swimming very much follows the rule that you will get out of it what you put in. A swimmer who practices four nights a week will go further than a swimmer who practices one night a week. We do understand that our swimmers have homework, other sports, music lessons, etc. Our suggestion to parents is to sit down with your swimmer at the beginning of the season and discuss what kind of a commitment he or she would like to make to swimming this winter, and then do your best to stick to that goal.

SAC Practice Rules

Practices are held at the Springfield High School Pool.
All team members are encouraged to practice 2-3 times per week.
Swimming and Diving Practices are assigned by age and ability as specified by the SAC Coaching Staff.
Pre-team members may only practice with the Pre-team
Practices will begin and end promptly at the indicated times. Team members should be on the pool deck and ready to begin at the practice start time.
Children must be dropped off and picked up no more than 15 minutes before or after practice. Coaches are not responsible to monitor children beyond these times. Parents who wish to observe practices should do so from the bleachers.
Practice Schedule is subject to change. SAC will not have practice on days the Springfield Township High School is closed (holidays or inclement weather.)
