-All entries MUST be EMAILED to Joe Leis info@springfieldaquatics.orgno later than the entry deadline.

Entry Guidelines

Include the name of a contact person for questions/corrections (name, phone number & e-mail address).

Submit entries as a zipped Team Manager Entry file (do not send a meet manager merge file!)Please use the provided meet entry template for your entries (it has the correct date).

Please include a zipped Team Manager Roster file with your entries.

In addition, please include a text file of your entries (Microsoft Word, etc.).

The number of relays a team may enter is not restricted.

When making your entries on Team Manager, do not submit names with relays Coaches will be given relay declaration cards at the scratch meeting, which will serve as the official declaration for all relay swimmers.

Relays will be listed but not seeded in the meet program.  We will wait until after the scratch meeting to seed the relays.  Coaches and meet officials will receive a copy of the relay heat/lane assignments that reflect the names of the swimmers participating, which will also reflect any scratches.  Copies will also be posted in the lobby for spectators.

Swimmers must observe the event limit rule extending over all individual swimming and diving championship meets (3 individual events and 2 relay events).  SAC will not police this limit so it is up to each club to ensure their swimmers/teams do not violate this rule.

Do not submit entries for athletes who swam faster than the League Championship qualifying time.

Psyche Sheets

Psyche sheets will be posted shortly after the entry deadline on the meet website.  The contact person and/or coaches should review the psyche sheets for mistakes.  Follow the “Scratches & Changes” guidelines below.

Scratches & Changes

Please advise the meet director of all scratches or changes up until 12 NOON on Friday, January 30, 2009 (this is the date we will print the meet program). Please report any changes or scratches as soon as possible; this will avoid lots of empty lanes and lead to a faster meet.

All scratches after this point should be reported at the Coaches/Scratch meeting on the day of the meet.  At this meeting, we will only accept scratches.  WE WILL NOT CHANGE ANY TIMES, CHANGE ANY EVENTS OR ADD ANY EXTRA HEATS AT THIS POINT.
